Orientation Program Welcomes Newly Appointed Faculty

An orientation program was organized from 7 April to 11 April, 2025 to welcome the newly appointed faculty members to the university. The event marked the beginning of their journey with a warm introduction to the university's academic culture, values, and vision.

The university has welcomed 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, and 22 Assistant Professors, of which 17 have already joined. In addition, 7 Senior Instructors and 5 Junior Instructors were present for the orientation.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Subhash Chandra Das, Registrar Md. Hanif Noorani, Prof. Manoj Deka, Academic Head, Prof. Anil Borah, Head of the Department of Mechanical, and Prof. Chandana Goswami, Head of the Department of Applied Management.

During the program, engaging sessions were conducted by Prof. Manoj Deka, Prof. Anil Borah, and Prof. Chandana Goswami, offering valuable insights into academic processes, departmental functions, and faculty responsibilities.

To enrich the orientation further, guest speakers from outside the university, Prof. Debarata Das and Mr. Jayanta Barua, were invited to share their perspectives and experiences in academia and industry.

The program also featured an interactive session where existing faculty members shared their own experiences, fostering a sense of community and collegiality.

The orientation concluded with a visit to the main campus in Mangaldai, allowing the new faculty members to familiarize themselves with the broader academic environment and campus facilities.

The orientation program successfully set the tone for a collaborative and enriching journey ahead for the new faculty members, reaffirming the university's commitment to academic excellence and inclusive growth.
