Observing TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan â Nutritional Support Initiative
As part of the observance, and in line with the objectives of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the University collaborated with the District TB Centre, Kamrup Metro, Assam, to extend nutritional support to individuals affected by tuberculosis. Under the Ni-kshay Poshan Abhiyaan scheme, the University has adopted 2 TB patients and distributed nutritious food packets to the respective TB patients, thereby contributing towards the national mission to eliminate TB and promote health equity across communities.
