UGC Recognition: Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956

Assam Skill University is officially recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory authority operating under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The university has been included in the list of universities established in accordance with Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, which empowers it to confer degrees as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.
