Dr. Bibhuti Bhushan Bhardwaj, serving as Assistant Professor and In-Charge Head of the Department in the Department of Civil Engineering at Assam Skill University, received the “Er. P. Ramaswamy Endowment Best Thesis Award” at the Foundation Day celebration of IIT Madras in 2026 for his research thesis titled “Parameters Governing the Performance of RAP-inclusive Rigid Pavement.”

The award was presented during the IIT Madras Foundation Day ceremony held on 30^th April 2026 for the best research thesis in the field of Transportation Engineering. The award medal and certificate were presented by the Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India, V. Anantha Nageswaran, and the Director of IIT Madras, V. Kamakoti.
