ASU conducts Career Awareness Session for NCC Cadets at Combined Annual Training Camp
- Assam Skill University participated in a Career Awareness Session organised by the 1 Assam Battalion NCC, Guwahati, during its Combined Annual Training Camp held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Banekuchi, Nalbari on 30 May 2026.
The session engaged over 520 NCC cadets from schools and colleges across Kamrup, Kamrup Metropolitan, Nalbari and Baksa districts. Smti. Mousumi Sen, OSD – Placement & Industry Collaboration, Assam Skill University, along with Syeda Mehzebin Rahman and Rajashree Das from the Assam Skill University Project (ASUP), conducted career counselling and guidance sessions, highlighting academic programmes, skill-based learning opportunities and emerging career pathways available at the University.
Conducted under the guidance of Col. Manohar Deshmukh and Lt. Col. Rajkumar Banerjee, the programme provided a valuable platform for engaging with young learners and fostering awareness about skill-based higher education. The interaction also paved the way for future collaboration between NCC and Assam Skill University in career guidance and outreach initiatives.
