The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Assam, has issued a letter regarding the observance of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from 17 September to 17 October 2026. The letter requests all educational institutions to widely circulate and display the enclosed poster to create awareness about the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes for SC and OBC students. Eligible students are encouraged to apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The scholarship schemes cover Pre-Matric students of Classes IX–X and Post-Matric students from Class XI to Ph.D., subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria. The last date for submission of applications mentioned in the enclosed poster is 30 September 2026.
