Course Description

B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Honours in Digital Transformation in Construction is launched in collaboration with L&T Edutech. The students will get access to self-paced learning modules, virtual instructor led sessions, physical instructor led sessions for 6-8 additional state-of-the-art industry relevant courses along with Industry visits, and help in Internship and Placement oppurtunities in L&T.
Eligibility
- Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science / Biology / Biotechnology as optional subjects.
- Minimum 45% marks in aggregate in the mentioned subjects (for reserved categories as per Government of Assam norms).
- Valid score/rank in Assam CEE/ JEE Mains/Assam Skill University Entrance Examination (ASUEE - wherever & whenever necessary).

- Apply civil engineering fundamentals in the planning, analysis, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings, transportation systems, water resources, environmental systems, and geotechnical infrastructure.
- Develop industry-ready technical competence through practical exposure in surveying, CAD, BIM, structural modelling, material testing, quality control, construction technology, estimation, and project execution.
- Use modern digital tools and technologies such as AutoCAD, Building Information Modelling, geospatial techniques, structural analysis software, and digital construction platforms for solving real-life civil engineering problems.
- Execute and manage construction projects by applying knowledge of construction management, formwork systems, equipment planning, estimation, costing, safety practices, quality assurance, and sustainable construction methods.
- Demonstrate professional, ethical, and lifelong learning abilities through teamwork, communication, field training, internships, on-the-job training, stakeholder coordination, and responsible decision-making considering societal and environmental needs.
